BACKING OUR HEROES
The research is only half of what this study needs to succeed. The other half is the weight of the organizations who know what is at stake — and who are willing to say so publicly.
We are building the most comprehensive coalition of organizational support ever assembled behind a single mTBI research initiative. Veterans service organizations, TBI advocacy groups, invisible wounds coalitions, suicide prevention organizations, NFL player welfare groups, sports medicine associations, and chiropractic and upper cervical professional organizations all have a direct stake in what this study is designed to prove. A signed letter of endorsement from your organization tells funders, DoD reviewers, legislators, and the public that the communities who live closest to this problem believe in this research.
No financial commitment is required. What we are asking for is your voice.
Why Endorsements Matter
When this study's findings land on the desks of the Department of War, SOCOM, CENTCOM, and VA leadership — and they will — the scientific data will not arrive alone. It will arrive alongside a record of who stood behind this work and why. The organizations that endorse this research become part of the evidence that this mission has the support of those who understand its importance most deeply.
For the funders and institutional partners we are pursuing, organizational endorsements are a critical signal. They demonstrate that the research and advocacy communities have vetted this work and found it worthy. They accelerate conversations that would otherwise take months. And they create the kind of public momentum that moves policy.
Your endorsement does not require you to validate every scientific claim before the study runs. It requires only that you believe this research deserves to be done — and that the veterans, operators, and athletes it is designed to serve deserve the answers it will produce.
Who Should Endorse This Study
We are actively seeking signed letters of endorsement from organizations working in the following areas. If your mission touches any of these, we want to hear from you.
- Veterans service and advocacy organizations.
- Traumatic brain injury awareness and research organizations.
- Invisible wounds and mental health advocacy organizations.
- Suicide prevention organizations serving veterans, servicemembers, and athletes.
- NFL player associations and retired player organizations.
- Athlete welfare and sports safety organizations.
- Sports medicine and concussion research organizations.
- Upper cervical and chiropractic professional associations.
- Academic and research institutions with relevant clinical or scientific focus.
- Congressional and policy advocacy organizations serving the veteran and military community.
What Endorsement Involves
Endorsement consists of a signed letter on your organization's letterhead addressed to the Advanced Orthogonal Institute. The letter expresses your organization's support for this research and its goals. It will be displayed on this website, shared with potential funders and DoD partners, and included in the study's formal documentation.
A fully drafted, customizable template letter is available for download below. You may use it as written, modify it to reflect your organization's voice, or draft your own. Signed letters may be submitted by upload, by email, or by mail.
If your leadership has questions before signing — about the study design, the team, the science, or how your endorsement will be used — we welcome a direct conversation. Contact Dr. Slininger at DrSlininger@CerebralChiropractic.com or (727) 677-0001.
